Fall is coming and a new week is starting! Time to tackle shop clutter! Do you have some items in the back of your shop with low views? No hearts? Just not your shop style anymore? Why don't you take them and 'revamp' them? Breathe some new life into an old piece by adding something, taking something away or making it something different all together?? This can be just the jolt your shop needs! Don't forget to change up your featured items! Make them eye catching and alluring! Anything you can do to bring in new people!! Back To School!

I can't believe it's Back to School time! I feel like a kid wondering WHERE ON EARTH Summer went? I think the weather had a lot to do with it too! We just didn't get the sweltering heat this year! (Not that I am complaining!!! haha!). Oh well, life goes on and now it's time to start SHOPPING!!! This week my fellow Eclectic Artisans Street Team Members and I are sharing what we have for back to school! What Brought Me to Etsy....

This weeks blog ring for the Eclectic Artisans Team questions, what brought us to Etsy to sell? This question always makes me smile as I think to my time selling at small craft shows, through e-mails, my Photobucket account and Ebay. I did pretty well through word of mouth, but then I had a sweet buyer on Ebay send me a message! she told me all about Etsy and how she thought my stuff would sell really well there!! How sweet is that? So I owe my Etsy conversion to the wonderful MissKnits! Please stop by her shop, she's a sweetie and right now her pin cusions have caught my eye! LOVE IT! I would like to take this little moment to thank her very much for her kindness! I was able to open up to a whole new audience and it's been fabulous! In face I just reached my 2000th sale last week! I couldn't be happier!! So in the end, it was a sweet woman with a big heart that brought me to open up my Etsy Shop!

Thoughts for Tuesday!

So much going on in my head, I can't believe it's only Tuesday! This summer has been filled with a lot of crazy events since I have had family in town from Mexico! It's all been super fun, but at the same time very tiring! So this is just a jumble of random thoughts!

Why on earth do stores have LOADS AND LOADS of aisles and only ONE is ever open?! How much do they spend to install all these aisles? Even at Christmas Time OR even the day after Thanksgiving they at most have 3 registers open and the rest seem to have dust on them! It's just ridiculous! Michaels is FAMOUS for this! Last night I think I was in line for like 1o minutes BEFORE the guy called someone to help him out.

We went to the Wisconsin State Fair to see Demi Lovato and the weather was crazy! It was HOT HOT HOT one minute then we were being told to seek shelter the next!! It would drizzle and then Hail! It was crazy, but fun!!
We love spending time by the river, here we are feeding the ducks! We have to grip that baby like crazy, because he likes to get too close!!

We all went bowling and it was so much fun, but with so many people, it really took all night! haha! We had like 4 lanes and there were so many kids, but it is definately a memory made! haha!

What Motivates Me....

This week in connection with my Eclectic Artisans Team Members,we are finding what motivates us to keep on keepin on! It's the perfect topic for the Summer as I seem to have just gotten so lost and caught up in the Summer Season, that I barely have time to do anything else. Life really seems to get in the way sometimes. So I sat down this morning in the quiet of the early morning and thought about what gets me going.

I always find a sure-fire way for me to get started is to get some new supplies! Even if it's something small, it starts getting my mind going! I love when I am in a slump and a supply order arrives in the mail, it's just what I need to take a seat and crank out about 10 new pieces!
