Just One of Those Days...

Today our elf was found making a mess and chowing down on our Gingerbread House items! We are hosting a gingerbread house building party tonight and it seems that Charlies wants in on the activities today as well! Want to know what else Charlie has been up to in 2014? CHECK IT OUT HERE!

Our morning started out pretty early, being the first in line at the library to buy a chess kit that they were selling. It is a rolling chess school basically and was perfect for what my son wanted. If he hadn't gone with me it would have easily been a Christmas gift, but alas I had nowhere to take them for an hour and this way they got to play right away! He was over the moon thrilled and could not wait to sort and look through it all.

Craft in a Minute! Lacing Food

 

Today's Craft in a Minute is so simple and so fun! I like to make special snacks for all of my kids and I always try to avoid just throwing some stuff in a bag. This week I wanted to try something different and went with our recent lacing fun we had last week. I purchased Twizzler Pull and Peels and separated them into individual strips. Then I used straws of different consistencies to make holes in fresh fruit and Voila! Perfection! For snacks at home, I use the longer Twizzler straws and the kids have so much fun, but for snack it was just the right size!!

Monday Reminder and a Winner....

Fun Mail

Buttons and Cabochons!

I had a fabulous mail day! I love getting good mail and figured I would share it with you!! I got some Awesome Awesome Etsy stuff! Candy, Cookie and Bow Cabochons from XtraStuff and some super cute buttons from PracticalRabbit. My fave is the FREE HUGS one. Read about the Free Hugs Campaign Here. I figure i'm going to try out wearing it while I do my errands and such and see if anyone notices it!

These little pretties also arrived from LayerCakeShop. I can't wait to work with them!! Shopping on Etsy is always a lot of fun, and I usually never buy the same supply from the same shop more than once. I like to spread it all around, but I have to say I came across some AWESOME customer service lately and I know of one shop where I will be back!!
