Fun with Food Friday!

Have you desired a way to get your children to eat more fruits and veggies? My kids absolutely love them all and I 100% attribute it to kitchen gadgetry! Our latest purchase is this Cuisinart vacuum based apple slicer and it is seriously magical! I even love watching it work. The kids even eat the peel that comes off in 1 long strand! Here is a similar one at Bed, Bath & Beyond. 

It slices them up so thinly and prettily that everyone wants apples! Sometimes we eat them like this, sometimes we sprinkle them with cinnamon and add in some raisins and sometimes we even bake them in the oven...so many ways and all of them are delicious!!

Counting Fun!

I found this fun apple page at Homeschool Parent and knew it was just what I was looking for!! I'm trying to get my little guy to start counting higher than 10 and also identify the numbers! (we use lego flowers, since I use a lot of lego in my shop! I slipped it into a page protector, so that we can use it over and over again! Share one of your favorite print outs!!
